Two vehicles in one trip

Look closely at our job photos and you’ll often see two vehicles: one riding on the tilt tray, and a second behind it on the rear lift.

Got two to move from the same place? Give us both makes and models when you call, and we’ll tell you whether they can share the trip.

Damaged HiLux on the tray with a people mover on the rear lift
White Audi Q5 on the tray and a Ford Ranger on the rear lift
White Toyota HiAce on the tray with a second white van on the rear lift
Crash-damaged white van on the SA Best Towing tray with a small white van on the rear lift
Sports motorcycle strapped on the tray with a white hatchback on the rear lift

What customers say

“One quick call, and the truck was there 15 minutes later.”
Sophie S., Google review, May 2026

That was one job on one good day, not a promise for every call. How soon we reach you depends on what the truck is doing when you ring, so ask on the phone when it can get to you.

How a tow with us goes

Same four steps whether it’s a flat battery in Mawson Lakes or a forklift that needs to cross town.

  1. You call or text

Tell us where the vehicle is, what it is and where it needs to go. Texting your location from the button on this site saves describing the corner you’re on.

  2. You get the price first

We give you the figure on the phone before anything is booked. If the job changes on the day, we talk about it before the vehicle moves.

  3. The truck comes to you

The tray tilts until its tail meets the road, the winch draws the vehicle up, and the driver straps it to the deck at each corner.

  4. Delivered where you need it

Home, your mechanic, the smash repairer, a storage yard or the wreckers. You tell us, and we unload it there.

From Angle Park, across Adelaide

The yard sits in the north-western suburbs, so Port Adelaide, Woodville and Enfield are a short run away. The truck works across Adelaide, out to Gawler and the Hills, and takes country jobs too.

All the areas we cover

What a tow costs

It comes down to distance, the time of day, what the vehicle is and how easy it is to reach. We give you the figure on the phone before the truck is booked.

Do you answer the phone at night and on weekends?

Ali, who owns SA Best Towing, answers 0457 300 057 himself, 24 hours a day, weekends and public holidays included. It’s the number painted on the truck. If you’d rather not talk, text the same number with your location and what the vehicle is, and we’ll call you back.

Can I book a tow for later instead of right now?

Car removals, machinery moves, auction pick-ups and cars booked into a workshop next week can all be arranged ahead. Call or send the quote form with the pick-up, the drop-off and the day that suits, and we’ll confirm the price and a time.

How do I get a price for a tow?

Call or text with three things: where the vehicle is, where it needs to go, and what it is. You get the price on the phone before the job is booked, so there’s no surprise when the truck arrives. The price guide explains what moves the number up or down.

Do I have to be with the vehicle when the truck turns up?

For a breakdown, staying with the car, or nearby and safe, makes the pick-up quicker. For a car removal or a booked move, someone usually needs to hand over the keys and show the vehicle. If nobody can be there, say so on the phone and ask what can be arranged.

What should I have ready when the truck turns up?

The keys if you have them, the steering unlocked if possible, valuables out of the cabin, and an address for the drop-off. If the vehicle is parked somewhere tight, like a basement car park or a narrow driveway, mention it on the phone so we can plan the load.
